At the meeting, Zhang Yongjie, executive director of the Steel Association and director of the Ministry of Science and Technology Environmental Protection, made a report on the topic of "Consolidating the data Foundation to improve energy efficiency standards to promote technology docking", summarized the progress of the energy efficiency benchmark for three years and the extreme energy efficiency project for half a year, and stressed the importance of cost reduction and carbon reduction of steel energy efficiency under the current situation. And pointed out that the next step will focus on the "three lists, two standards, one data system" to promote the work, and strive to organize the first batch of benchmarking acceptance work in the second half of this year. Zhang Dapeng made the "Key process Energy efficiency data filling system internal test data analysis Report", conducted a comprehensive analysis of the energy consumption data of 76 blast furnaces, 58 converter furnaces, 15 electric furnaces and 43 coke ovens in the internal test of 22 excellent enterprises in energy efficiency cultivation. The characteristics of the energy consumption data are analyzed from five aspects: average energy consumption, TOP energy consumption, influencing factors, bid breaking coefficient and group bid adjustment amount. Data show that iron and steel enterprises through the potential of the standard to promote the upgrading of energy-saving technology, application, in accordance with the group standard accounting methods, excellent enterprises, excellent production lines, excellent processes are expected to achieve benchmarking. Gao Xue, deputy chief engineer of Metallurgical Industry Planning Institute, reported the progress of evaluation and acceptance methods on behalf of the preparation team of benchmarking demonstration evaluation and acceptance methods for energy efficiency.

Participants around the data system, acceptance plan to carry out a full exchange, focusing on the energy discount coefficient, acceptance evaluation period, measurement accuracy, to ensure the authenticity of data, data statistical caliber and other problems, and said that the energy efficiency data system for the next step to lay the foundation for energy efficiency standards, demonstration enterprises to ensure the authenticity of the data.
Jiang Wei thanked the experts for their support of the ultimate energy efficiency work, and looked forward to the excellent enterprises in the whole industry achieving the benchmark three years of energy efficiency action and improving the ultimate energy efficiency level of enterprises. He pointed out that extreme energy efficiency is an important starting point for current enterprises to tap the potential of the standard and save energy and reduce carbon, and the energy efficiency of the benchmark three-year action and extreme energy efficiency project is an attempt and practice of national governance capacity and industry self-discipline. Through the "three lists, two standards, one system", the Steel Association will improve the energy efficiency level of the industry, and achieve cost reduction, efficiency improvement, energy saving, and carbon reduction. He hopes that the cultivation enterprises participating in the benchmark three-year action of energy efficiency will play a leading role in demonstration, truthfully fill in the data, and gradually solve the problem of energy consumption data governance in the industry through the energy efficiency data system. In the next step, the acceptance method will be transformed into a standard specification, and it will be continuously improved in application practice, and the promotion and application of advanced energy-saving technology will be promoted by tapping the potential of the standard, so as to truly improve the energy efficiency level of enterprises and industries.
