The "Green Steel, green energy, green Finance Industry Integration Conference" organized by Jiuquan Iron and Steel (Group) Co., LTD., Metallurgical Technology Development Center was held in Jiayuguan City.

Zhang Jingang, Standing Committee member and Vice Governor of Gansu Province attended the meeting and delivered a speech. China Iron and Steel Association Party Secretary, executive President He Wenbo made a speech.  China Power Council Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, full-time vice President Xia Zhong meeting speech. Ruan Qiang, Vice General Manager of Jiuquan Iron & Steel (Group) Co., Ltd. attended the meeting and made a keynote report. In his speech, He Wenbo systematically introduced the recent operation of the steel industry and the related work carried out in green low-carbon transformation, industrial linkage, integration of industry and finance, and put forward ideas, pointed out the direction and made requirements for the core issues of green development of the steel industry. He said: "As a steel practitioner and operator for more than 40 years, I have experienced the rapid development of China's economy and steel industry, and also experienced the arduous process of climbing uphill. In this process, our focus gradually extends from the production line to the industrial chain, and then from the industrial chain to the ecosystem. This ecosphere is an ecosphere of mutual support, joint promotion and coordinated development including production, design, research, service, regulation and finance. Through deepening industrial integration, it can provide better support for promoting industrial transformation and upgrading, cultivating new advantages of industrial competition, realizing mutual penetration between industries, so as to continuously expand and cultivate new industries, new business forms and new models."

In his speech, Zhang Jingang comprehensively introduced the layout and planning of Gansu Province in steel and green energy industries, pointed out that Gansu Province should build a demonstration direction of integrated development of green steel and green energy industries, and put forward the "Gansu Plan" for low-carbon and green development of steel industry. In recent years, Gansu Province has actively built the green energy industry, accelerated the construction of large-scale wind power photovoltaic base, orderly promoted the integration of "source network, charge and storage", and continued to cultivate and expand steel enterprises such as Jiujiang Iron and Steel Co., LTD., and achieved remarkable results in industrial integration and development. He said that steel, as an important basic industry of the national economy and a typical resource and energy intensive industry, bears an important mission in the overall green transformation of economic and social development, and has huge potential and space. However, in practical practice, it is difficult to achieve this goal only by relying on the steel industry itself. Continuous investment of green energy and strong support of green finance are also needed. This is also an important move to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries.

In his speech, Xia introduced the progress of low-carbon work in the power industry and the planning and layout of green energy in the future, which pointed out the direction for the steel industry to further optimize the energy structure and improve the utilization rate of green energy. He said that from the perspective of the transformation path of the steel industry, by expanding the production of green energy and electricity and the proportion of consumption in the steel industry, it can realize the coupling development of the power industry and the steel industry, achieve the coordinated reduction of carbon emissions of the two industries, and jointly create a new pattern of high-quality development of the two industries.

Ruan Qiang said in his speech that on the road of promoting industrial integration and green low-carbon transformation development, JISCO is eager to work together with you to accelerate the development and utilization of green energy in the steel industry, green finance to serve the transformation and development of the steel industry, and jointly create a more competitive steel industry pattern. Later, he gave a detailed introduction to the exploration of green energy substitution in Jisco in the keynote report "Green and Low-carbon Development Practice".

Recycled steel raw material is an important strategic resource. It is necessary to plan and design the whole process of its management from the perspective of the whole life cycle, and carry out targeted research to maximize the low-carbon properties of recycled steel raw material. 

Increasing the application rate of green energy is an important way to achieve the national "double carbon" goal. Guan Xiaohong systematically introduced the operating mechanism of distributed zero-carbon smart energy system based on large-scale utilization of hydrogen energy in the theme report "Zero-carbon Smart Energy System and Energy Revolution", emphasized that economic energy storage technology is the key to the utilization of renewable and new energy, and provided new ideas for steel and new energy enterprises to further improve energy utilization efficiency in the future.

The low-carbon transformation of the steel industry requires trillion-level capital investment and the power of green finance. Guo Liucheng sorted out the policies, products and services supporting the green transformation of the financial industry in the theme report "Green Finance Serves the Double Carbon Target Policy, Serves the Transformation and Development of the steel industry", put forward relevant suggestions for steel enterprises to seek green finance support, and pointed out the innovation direction of green finance serves the steel industry in the future.

How to efficiently introduce clean energy into the existing energy security system of iron and steel enterprises and form a reasonable energy structure, Wei Wei gave the Baowu answer paper in the theme report "Practice and Exploration in the Construction of Metallurgical Clean Energy Security System". Baowu has done a lot of work on industrial chain technology through the joint efforts of its ecosphere partners. We believe that "Ecosphere Light" will surely inject new impetus into the development of green steel and green energy in the future.
